1. Site content
Portfolio content is provided as-is for information. Project names, prices, and timelines on the Shop page are estimates; a written/Discord quote for your order controls.
2. Commissions — scope
Work is limited to the features agreed in the quote (bot, website, script, or other custom code). New features after quote acceptance may require a new price and timeline. Minimum order: $15. Monstie may refuse work that is out of skill sweet-spot, unsafe, or listed as out of scope on the Shop page.
3. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing on Discord: about 50% deposit to start, remaining balance before final handoff (or source transfer). Large orders may use milestones. Deposits cover early design/build time. Unpaid balances pause delivery. Payment methods are confirmed per order; this website does not process card payments.
4. Refunds
Once work has started, deposits are generally non-refundable. If Monstie cancels before delivery, prepaid amounts for unfinished work are refunded. Chargebacks for delivered work may result in license revocation and denial of future service.
5. Delivery & revisions
Delivery includes the agreed functionality and roughly one to two polish rounds after handoff for bugfixes and small UX tweaks within scope — not a redesign or new feature set. Further changes may be hourly, add-on priced, or a new quote.
6. Source code & license
Unless you purchase source code ownership, you receive a license to use the delivered work for your server(s) or project, not ownership of the codebase, and not the right to resell it as a product. With source ownership, transfer terms are confirmed at sale.
7. Hosting & maintenance
Monstie does not host or run commission bots, websites, or apps for clients. You are responsible for running the deliverable on your own machine, VPS, or host. Optional add-ons may include a self-host/deploy walkthrough and monthly maintenance (bugfixes and error repairs on what you operate). Outages caused by Discord API changes, browsers, your host, or misconfiguration are not automatic refunds; maintenance clients get priority code fixes.
8. Communication & pause
Commissions are arranged on Discord. Replies are async and not guaranteed same-hour. If the client provides no meaningful response for about two weeks mid-project, Monstie may pause the work. Restarting later may require a re-quote if scope or dependencies changed.
9. Acceptable use
Work will not be built for spam, raids, malware, phishing, credential theft, scraping private data without consent, or clear violations of Discord’s Terms of Service or applicable law. Monstie may refuse or cancel such work.
10. Ectoplasm & other products
Ectoplasm and other public products have their own terms on their sites. Commission work does not grant rights to Ectoplasm’s brand, assets, or codebase.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, liability for commission work is limited to fees paid for that order. The portfolio site and free tools (Blinker, etc.) are provided without warranty.
